Our Missions...

It is the goal of Hands of Hope International to provide assistance to some of the millions of hungry, poor, sick, illiterate, and hopeless people (especially children) in the world. Needs are determined through personal contacts made by Rev. Adams in his travels around the world, as well as through agencies that merit our trust. Although we are a Christian mission, we seek to provide help to anyone in need regardless of their faith or nationality.

Some of the agencies we have worked through are:

Our Primary Mission...

Seeds in HIS Garden (SIHG), is a school and home for AIDS orphans in Nairobi, Kenya. It was founded in 1998 by Becky Adams, the daughter of Rev. Wayne Adams. SIHG is registered as a Kenyan Trust. A board of directors oversees the operations in Kenya and Hands of Hope International (HOHI) is responsible for the funding and oversight in the United States. 100% of all contributions designated for SIHG are sent to the mission in Africa. Books are maintained in both Africa and the United States, and a full audit is conducted each year.

Other Missions...

As funds become available, we seek to provide help wherever it is needed. Here are some areas where we have recently provided help.

  • We have provided teaching and supplies for pastors in Nepal, the Philippines, Romania, and China.
  • We have provided assistance to students helping in Mississippi following hurricane Katrina.
  • We have provided assistance to workers on the ground in Pakistan following the 2005 earthquake.
  • We have provided assistance to Horsepower, a ministry using horses to help kids at risk from schools and Boys and Girls Clubs in Monterey, CA.
  • We have provided assistance to Grace Ministries, a home for unwed mothers in Vancouver, WA.
  • We have provided assistance to Community Partnership for Youth which works with children at risk in Monterey, CA.
